外科学不仅需精准诊断、精准治疗，更需精准愈合，在腹股沟疝修补术中采用一些新工艺、新技术和新材料并借此达到精准医疗是疝外科发展的趋势。医用胶治疗学是二十一世纪的十大新进展学科之一，随着当代外科学技术及生物医学材料学的迅速发展，医用胶逐渐应用于腹股沟疝修补术中。其隶属于人工合成的生物医学工程材料，不仅可用于体表伤口的粘合及止血，亦可代替缝线固定补片，在降低腹股沟疝修补术后复发及疼痛方面具有显著意义。

The development trend for inguinal hernia is to adopt some new techniques, technologies and materials in tension-free hernia repair to achieve precision medicine. Glue therapeutics is one of the ten new advances in the 21st century. With the rapid development of surgical technology and biomedical materials, glue is gradually being used in inguinal hernia repair. It belongs to synthetic biomedical engineering materials, which can not only be used for adhesive and hemostasis of wounds, but also replace sutures to fix mesh. It has significance in reducing recurrence and pain after inguinal hernia repair.
